IrishArtHouse

If you are a collector of contemporary Irish art with an eye for emerging talent, or a company or individual who wants to acquire some beautful pictures (or stained glass), you must take a look at IrishArtHouse.ie, a brand new online gallery and cooperative that offers a wonderful range of quality paintings, prints and stained glass, supported by a high level of personal service.

A member of the Fine Art Trade Guild, IrishArtHouse promotes a carefully chosen group of Irish-based contemporary artists, each of whom is approved by a selection panel according to their long term standard of work, resumé and trend of sales: an ideal set-up, both for emerging artists and for first-time personal or corporate art-buyers who want attractive paintings to suit their collection or premises.

Art Services

The brainchild of 29-year old printmaker Stephanie Reilly, the organization offers you three basic options:

• You can buy any of the paintings, or stained glass art, on display.
• You can commission new works by any of the artists concerned.
• You can order specific works to match your interior design requirements.

Everything is arranged promptly and conveniently through IrishArtHouse itself. This includes a high-quality framing service, and full installation.

Note: To satisfy your interior design needs, IrishArtHouse can visit the property in question, whether it be commercial or private, and recommend suitable works, framing options and installation.

Gallery Artists

Members of IrishArtHouse's talented group of artists include: the renowned 'shoe' artist Emma Barone; the Abstract Expressionist Aisling Morin, who works in a variety of textures and mediums including oils, acrylics, chalks, pastels, and coloured pencils; the oil painter Alan Fitzpatrick, who also works in an abstract Impressionist style; the Polish-born artist Anna Matykiewicz, who specializes in striking figurative imagery. The contemporary Expressionists Anne O'Byrne, who works with acrylic on board, and also acrylics, plaster and charcoal on board, and Barbara Monahan, who creates vibrant, heavily textured clouds of colour. Deirdre Cairns the noted Midlands-based stained glass artist who creates exquisite and flowing glass art. The contemporary painters Fiona Quill and Brian McMahon, the watercolour and gouache painter Georgia Hopkins, noted for her seascapes and landscapes, the Scottish-born landscape artist Jock Nichol; and the Italian-born Mario Sughi (aka Nerosunero) a digital Cartoonist/Illustrator reminiscent of English Pop artist David Hockney.

Gallery Founder

Stephanie Reilly, herself, was born in Co.Westmeath, and studied fine art and printmaking at the Limerick School of Art and Design, from where she graduated with honours in 2000. Turning to art full-time, she became a member of Limerick Printmakers and had her first exhibition in 2001. After further shows in Wicklow, Galway and Limerick she returned to the midlands to launch IrishArtHouse.

"As a practicing artist for many years and experiencing first-hand the difficulties artists encounter in their quest to promote themselves and their art - and the financial costs involved - I felt there was a need for support. Thus www.irisharthouse.ie was born."

"My aim is to provide talented artists not only with an online portfolio and exhibition space, but also a centre where they can sell their works and update their online collection. This gives them a much wider scope to sell and promote their work, while significantly reducing the costs and time involved."
