The Jorgensen GalleryOriginally opened in 1992, the Jorgensen Gallery is one of the leading Irish art galleries, specializing in contemporary painting and bronze sculpture by Irish as well as international artists. The gallery also showcases works by some of the major names of Irish painting of the 20th century. Ib Jorgensen, one of Ireland's foremost fashion designers, originally founded Jorgensen Fine Art in 1992, in an elegant Georgian building on Molesworth Street in Dublin city centre, where it rapidly established itself as one of the leading modern art galleries in Dublin. Since then, the gallery has moved a number of times, but has now returned to Molesworth Street and has re-opened as the Jorgensen Gallery. |
