Lewis Glucksman Gallery

Situated in its own award-winning building on the campus of University College Cork, the Lewis Glucksman Gallery is one of most modern venues of visual art in Ireland. With a mission to promote the research, creation and exploration of all the visual arts, the Glucksman Gallery aims to showcase a range of innovative and exciting exhibitions of works not yet seen in Cork, or indeed Ireland, and to initiate projects that resonate with the architecture and surroundings of the gallery space.

Located at the city end of the UCC campus by the main Western Road pedestrian gateway, the Glucksman Gallery incorporates display spaces, lecture facilities, a riverside restaurant and art shop. In addition to numerous art shows, the Gallery has an visual arts education program which includes a range of activities including workshops for both adults and children. The Glucksman is without doubt a major addition to Cork art and to the cultural life of the Munster region.
